Police in the North have confirmed that an investigation is underway after two people were killed and four others were seriously injured following a suspected crush at teenage St Patrick’s Day disco.
According to Sky News, police were alerted to the incident which occurred at Greenvale Hotel, on the Drum Road, in Cookstown, Co Tyrone.
Although the cause of deaths has yet to be confirmed, police say they are investigating the incident which has been reported to be a crush incident.
They say three of the injured have been taken to Antrim Area Hospital, whilst another has been taken to Craigavon Area Hospital for treatment.
It is understood that parents where informed to pick up their children from the teenage disco immediately after paramedics arrived at the scene.
