Tyson Fury, the 6ft 9″ Heavyweight champion of the world has announced he’s retiring.
In a typical foul-mouthed series of tweets, the second generation Irish traveller said (clean version):
“Boxing is the worst thing I ever took part in and I’m retired”.
His rematch against Vladimir Klitschko was called off for unknown reasons, but allegedly Fury tested positive for cocaine in a random test called out by a boxing body.
It appears many social media users think he’s running scared of Klitschko.
Either way, it now appears his title will be up for grabs in a Klitschko/Anthony Joshua superfight next month.
