A very small number of people gathered on St Peter’s steps on West St in Drogheda, Co Louth, this afternoon in a protest for Palestine following an ipas centre fire in the town on Halloween night.
Various groups, who want migrants from around the world to live in Drogheda, organised the protest, with a large prominent flag reading “The Militant Left” being flown.
One local told The Liberal that “we want all migrants in our town, from everywhere and anywhere. If they need to be housed, we’ll take them in Drogheda. These people are coming from warzones”.
