Brexit: Nigel Farage says “The Irish people should look into Ireland leaving the European Union itself”

The former head of UKIP and the most famous face of the winning Brexit campaign, Nigel Farage was interviewed yesterday by TV3’s Colette Fitzpatrick as he was having a celebratory pint on Brexit Day.

The charismatic politician said that “today is a great day” and that the thousands of Irish people living in the UK have “nothing to worry about because there’s a 100 year law of common travel ground between Ireland and the UK and that will stay in place”.

He went onto to say that the “people of Ireland really need to look at leaving the European Union themselves”.

He said that there will be no hard border in Northern Ireland and that the UK will get a great deal with both Ireland and Europe.

What’s your thoughts on Nigel’s comments?
