A newly married couple said they cried their hearts out after a disastrous wedding, reports The Mirror.
They were heartbroken when more than half of their guests didn’t even bother to turn up for their reception.
Bride Gray said that when she ended the party early she was “feeling like that kid that would always be left”, reports The Mirror.
Gray and her partner Nyx from America invited 88 family, friends and co-workers to celebrate with them.
She even created a spreadsheet listing all the RSVPs and booked a venue big enough to host the party.
She explained how, “Most of these people were my co-workers and they were so excited and were talking to me about it for months,” reports The Mirror.
In a TikTok video that has since been viewed more than 8 million times, she claimed her wedding was “ruined” because she was staring at an empty room with only a few guests.
She said, “88 people said yes and not even 40 of them showed up. Feeling like that kid that would always be left out right now,” reports The Mirror.
Gray mentioned in the caption that she and her groom sat in the empty room crying because they had to end the reception early.
Viewers felt for Grey, and some suggested that she should plan an alternative marriage with the TikTok community.
One wrote: “Let’s have a wedding re-do! We are all coming!,” reports The Mirror.
A second shared: “Just have another wedding with us, we will bring the energy unlike these guys,” reports The Mirror.
