According to Met Eireann the country will experience a lot more seasonable weather over the coming days as it will be quite dry and milder with plenty of sunshine throughout.
Although Friday will be a mixed bag with heavy showers throughout, the national forecaster has said Saturday and Sunday will feel a bit more like summer with temperatures expected to get up into the low 20s in many parts.
Forecasters say Saturday will be a largely dry day with sunshine expected throughout the day with temperatures expected to be no higher than 21C.
Meanwhile Sunday will be much the same with sunshine expected during the early morning and afternoon although western areas will see cloud cover developing later in the evening.
