We might have gotten an Indian summer last week but it looks like Autumn 2019 is definitely here.
Met Eireann issued a Status Yellow weather warning for heavy rainfall, covering counties Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Offaly, Westmeath, and Meath.
The national forecaster has said that up to 30mm of rain may fall there, which may lead to localized flooding this morning.
The week ahead is likely to be wet and windy, with temperatures of 16-18C max. Tuesday afternoon and evening looks like the best of out of the next few days.
