This weekend looks like a mixed bag with hazy sunshine on Saturday, with temperatures of around 18C-20C, and a very wet Sunday, with widespread showers. Northern and eastern areas are likely to see the best of the weather.
However next week is beginning to look at least a bit more like the normal Irish summer we’re used to.
Although Sunday night is expected to be very wet and the chance of thunderstorms in some areas, temperatures are due to rise significantly at the start of the week.
Temperatures will rise even further next week, reaching 24-25C at times, with showers in places but sunshine to break through at long last.
