Minister for Housing Eoghan Murphy fails yet again, as charity boss speaks of ‘tsunami of homeless’ attending soup kitchens

The total incompetence of the Minister for Housing Eoghan Murphy is laid bare for all to see again, after a charity boss spoke of a ‘tsunami of homeless’ attending makeshift soup kitchens in the streets of Dublin.

According to the Mirror, Tony Walsh, the head of the Feed our Homeless charity, said that around 500 people, including many children, now regularly queue for food at one of Dublin’s busiest soup kitchens.

According to Mr. Walsh, the facility routinely runs out of food quickly due to the sheer number of people in need, forcing volunteers to dash to nearby stores to buy more supplies.

Official figures say that the number of homeless people across Ireland tops 10,500.

The charity chief called for the immediate resignation of the Minister for Housing, in light of his catastrophic performance so far.

Mr. Murphy would have been sacked long ago if he were working in the private sector, so why do you think he has managed to hang on to the trough? Let us know in the comments below.
