Bring it on! Met Eireann says Ireland will see the hottest day of the year tomorrow with temps hitting 26c

It’s about time really isn’t it? After May’s up and down weather, it appears as though June is shaping up much better with the possibility of even more good weather on the way over the next few weeks.

Either way, get ready for tomorrow – the national forecaster says that it’s going to be the hottest day of the year so far!

Met Eireann is predicting that temperatures will reach 26C in some places.

Today’s conditions saw temperatures range between 21-23c with mixed cloud and sunshine.

However, tomorrow, Sunday will be even warmer, as the thermometer reaches 26C across Leinster, Munster, and east Ulster. Western counties will be slightly cooler.

The settled conditions are set to stay until the middle of next week at least, when a turn for the worse is expected.
