Bring it on! Sun, blue skies and temperatures to hit 21C

Met Éireann has predicted temperatures reaching up to 21C on Friday, alongside extended sunny intervals, as the current spell of fine weather is expected to continue throughout the week, reports RTE.

According to Met Éireann, high pressure will “dominate for the rest of the week with mostly settled conditions, along with a warming trend too”, reports RTE.

Tomorrow is expected to be dry and breezy, featuring sunny spells and only a small chance of a few showers. Temperatures are set to range from 11C to 14C, with the mildest conditions in western areas.

Temperatures will climb further on Thursday, with another dry and bright day anticipated and highs between 13C and 18C. Met Éireann noted that western regions will again see the warmest conditions, reports RTE.

Friday is forecast to be “another dry, fine sunny day for most”. It will be “warm in sunshine with afternoon highs of 14-21C”, according to the forecaster, reports RTE.

Looking ahead to the weekend, conditions are expected to remain largely favourable, with Met Éireann indicating mostly dry weather, light winds, and good sunny intervals, along with temperatures above the norm for late April.

However, as is often the case, there is still a possibility of isolated showers, some of which could become thundery, reports RTE.
