Spanish police believe a British man crashed his camper van into a lorry to deliberately kill himself after already murdering his wife.
The 38-yr-old was killed instantly in a horror crash near Gibraltar where he is believed to have rammed his camper van into a lorry on a highway. After a post mortem was carried out on the remains of his 41 year old French wife, it was revealed she had already been dead for days.
Detectives in the south of Spain have opened enquiries into domestic abuse and are treating the case as a potential murder/suicide. The Spanish driver of the lorry involved was hospitalised with severe injuries.
