A British holidaymaker has passed away after feeling unwell while swimming in the sea.
The incident happened at Praia do Peneco beach in the Algarve in recent days.
It is understood that paramedics were quick at the scene, but the woman, believed to be aged 45, was pronounced dead at the scene.
