A British minister has said that a ‘full lockdown’ could be imposed in Britain again if a vaccine-resistant coronavirus strain emerges.
According to Environment Minister George Eustice, a return to lockdown is possible, though ‘that’s not what we want.’
The UK is still seeing tens of thousands of new daily cases, with 158 new deaths reported on Thursday alone.
