The Minister for Finance Paschal Donohoe has confirmed that the price of cigarettes and tobacco products will be increased by 50c.
In an announcement as part of Budget 2022, Donohoe confirmed that the price of cigarettes will increase from tonight.
Donohoe said that he is currently working with health personnel to reduce the prevalence of cigarette smoking in Irish society.
