TV3’s main man, Vincent Browne has been given a firm wrap on the knuckles by the heavy hand of the law.
Over the last 3 years, Browne has reached the maximum allowance of penalty points for offences such as speeding and using a mobile phone while driving.
“I believe I thoroughly deserved disqualification from driving for six months from the 5th of September last,” said the presenter.
Two years ago, Browne appeared before Dun Laoghaire District Court after he was fined €100 for using his phone while driving back in December 2013.
Judge Hugh O’Donnell advised the broadcaster to buy a hands-free kit for his car, to which the 72-yr-old Browne replied: “I already have one”.
