TikTok, the Chinese social media platform that challenged the likes of Facebook and Instagram to garner users from around the world, could, in time, be completely banned across the USA and possible around the Western World.
Its CEO was speaking today with Congress in Washington and tried to outline how the social media platform is indeed just that, a social media platform aimed at helping businesses and people connect.
However, there has been widespread claims that the social media platform is in fact spying on users and that it could potentially affect political elections in the future.
It remains to be seen whether or not it will remain useable or not.
