Calls for Christians to stop funding RTE and TG4 through the TV license fee have been renewed in light of a fresh attack of Christians by the state sponsored media.

A video, described as “warped” by Catholic Ireland, has been published this week by TG4 under their Irish language channel called BLOCTG4.

The video “deliberately mocked and insulted Catholics with a warped, tacky and uncreative video as part of its BLOCTG4 social media platform”, according to Catholic Arena.

Alan Esslemont, the British born head of TG4 has previously worked for the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) said “We are also aware of how audiences, especially young audiences, are changing the way they view content and we have doubled our investment in young people’s programming and established a new digital non-linear channel called ‘BLOC’ which serves young people aged 18-35”, reports Catholic Arena who ask “Are young people aged 18-35 inclined to bully people of faith with taxpayer money as TG4 have decided to do?”

This new attack on Christians in Ireland joins a long litany of attacks disguised as “comedy” including the New Year’s Eve “comedy sketch” accusing God of Rape.
