People are likening Eamon Ryan’s pleas to his wife about taking in Ukrainian refugees as to a child asking their parent to go outside.
The leader of the Green Party who cycles his way to the Dail each morning says that he may or may not take in Ukrainian refugees into his home.
Ryan says that he needs to ask his wife and adult children whether he’s going to be allowed take in some of the 100,000 refugees that are due to arrive in Ireland over the coming weeks.
It’s not yet known whether Micheal Martin, Leo Varadkar or Mary Lou McDonald will take in any refugees into their large properties. Only time will tell.
