A candlelight vigil will be held in the village of Carlingford this coming weekend to honour those who sadly died this past weekend.
According Cooley Community Alert Facebook page, the vigil is being held to remember two men killed in a road traffic incident in the early hours of Monday morning, and it will also pay tribute to missing woman Ruth Maguire whose body is believed to have been recovered on Monday.
In a post on Facebook Cooley Community Alert said the following: “The community would like to show our sympathy to the family and friends of the deceased and thank all those in the emergency services and volunteers by gathering at the old tourist office at 8pm.”
