The 20-yr-old missing person’s case of Deirdre Jacob has been upgraded to a murder inquiry by investigating Gardai.
CCTV shows Ms Jacob, who was 18-years-old at the time, on the day she disappeared, July 28th, 1998 in Roseberry in Co Kildare carrying a bag and walking along Barretstown Road.
The Gardaí’s Serious Crime Review Team upgraded the missing persons file to a murder inquiry after a 12-month review and after Garda received new information in relation to case.
