A 22-year-old Cavan man has sadly lost his life in a car accident in New Zealand.
Martin Cadden, a native of Loughduff, Mullahoran, Cavan, died when the vehicle he was driving hit a tree.
The fatal crash happened near the town of Leeston, Canterbury, last Friday. Leeston is located 40 kilometres southwest of Christchurch.
He had been working in New Zealand since 2013.
