The syndicate winners of the huge €86 million Euromillions ticket weren’t the only winners. The staff of Centra in Ballybrack, South County Dublin managed to scoop themselves €25,000 for just selling the ticket!
Dave Whelan is the owner of the Centra shop in Ballybrack. He already said that the 16 staff who work in the shop will get a cut of the bonus for selling the ticket.
“A big staff party and then whatever is left we’ll divide among the staff,” Mr Whelan said when asked what his plans for the €25,000 were. The bonus is actually taxable, so he estimates that the shop employees will get themselves a nice little top up of around €1,000 each.
