Video footage has been released of a shooting that took place last year in Chicago after it had been ordered to be made public by a judge.
The video shows Laquan McDonald (17) walking away from police officers who had their guns drawn.
Laquan, who authorities said was carrying a pocket knife and was on PCP (hallucinogenic drug) was jogging away from police officers when he was pursued and shot dead 16 times by white police officer Van Dyke.
Officer Jason Van Dyke has been charged with first degree murder.
People have taken to the streets of Chicago to demonstrate peaceful protests.
