The Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan has called on the public to continue following public health advice.
Speaking at the National Public Health Emergency Team briefing, Dr Holohan called on the public to continue social distancing, hand washing and to use face masks in order to surpress the virus.
Holohan said that the country would be in a better place on December 1st if we hold firm and follow guidelines.
