Gardai in Co Monaghan have said that a child and two adults have been injured following a crash on Friday.
It is understood that a 7 year old was injured following the two vehicle collision on the N2 at Annamarran near Carrickmacross.
Gardai say the driver of the car a woman aged in her 30s was also injured in the collision occurred at approximately 3pm.
It is understood that the driver of the other vehicle a woman aged in her 50s was also injured in the collision.
Gardai say an investigation is currently ongoing.
