Children with glasses could be deemed exempt from wearing masks, says top doctor

There’s been much debate over the past number of days in relation to whether or not it’s actually healthy in both body and mind for children as young as 9 to wear face masks.

Some parents say that they’ve no problem with their child wearing a face covering while others say that it’s utterly despicable and bad for the child’s mental development.

An Irish doctor has told The Liberal that if a child wears glasses and their glasses steam up by wearing a mask, that they could be deemed exempt if the child’s parents visit the doctor for a cert.

It’s understood that some schools and even individual teachers are enforcing the rule, regardless of what Tony Holohan, Micheal Martin, Leo Varadar and Stephen Donnelly are trying to enforce.
