Ireland could very well see an influx of money coming from China after the Bank of China submitted an application to set up an Irish branch.
The bank which is partially owned by both direct investors and the state hope to strengthen links between the countries which has been growing in the past number of years.
According to reports the application was filed last month and it is currently seeking approval from the Department of Finance.
