The people of Belfast have received great praise from a family of Chinese tourists who lost significant amount of money in the city recently. The tourist in question named Bin Zhou has heaped praise on the generous nature of one member of the Belfast public after they returned a bag containing several thousand pounds to police authorities .

Bin Zhou tragically lost his bag whilst he was taking trip along with his family around the city on Friday afternoon, however their despair was short lived as a unidentified good Samaritan handed all of the money that was in the bag into the police over the weekend.

Bin Zhou who is now relieved that he and his family have received their money back, has now expressed his gratitude to whoever handed his bag into the authorities. Bin Zhou said: “I want to say a lot of thanks to the local people and the police. They are warm-hearted and their high efficiency helped me to find back my bag.”

Bin Zhou also said he and his family would have had to cancel the rest of their trip and return to China if the bag hadn’t been returned. The tourist finished by saying that he and his family will stay in the city for a while before leaving for London but said it’s his trip to this island and the generosity of the people here that will last long in his memory.
