There will be a real feel of Christmas beginning today even though it is four months before the big day as one of the country’s leading retailers Brown Thomas have confirmed they are to open its Christmas store today.
According to The Irish Sun newspaper, the retailer have decided to open its much loved Christmas department a whole 132 days before Christmas.
Although the move is not unusual a spokesperson for the retailer told The Irish Sun, that the early opening of its Christmas has proven to be popular in recent years and it has been positively received by the public.
They also say that their stores will “showcase an unrivalled selection of the most exquisite decorations, Christmas trees and unique gifts across a special curation of themes.”
The spokesperson added that their Christmas goods will be available at their Dublin, Cork and Limerick stores.
