Citizens of Ireland have again made their opposition to the government’s plan for a two tier society where those who accept the experimental Covid-19 jab will enjoy a return of some basic freedoms while those who refuse will be forced to live as second class citizens tonight.

As many as two thousand people gathered outside the gates of Aras an Uachtaráin to call on President Higgins to refrain from signing a bill that would amend the 1947 Public Health Act barring non-vaccinated people from dining or drinking indoors at bars, restaurants and cafes.

The bill would enshrine in law, for the first time in the history of the Irish state, legal discrimination against a class of citizens and also criminalise businesses who refuse to discriminate.

Citizens are calling on the President to refrain from signing the bill until it has been referred to the Supreme Court for consideration or at the very least the Council of State.

Government ministers have indicated that the measures in the bill would effectively expire once the significant majority of population was vaccinated but then again, they also told us “two weeks to flatten the curve” and the idea of a vaccine passport was dismissed as a ludicrous conspiracy theory just one year ago.
