The city of New York has suspended the license of former Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani over his persistent lies about his boss’ election fraud claims.
A panel found that Giuliani repeatedly issued ‘demonstrably false and misleading’ statements about the November 2020 election, which former US President Donald Trump lost resoundingly to Joe Biden.
Among other falsehoods, Giuliani parroted lines about rigged election machines and fraud-ridden ballots, without ever producing a shred of evidence to back any of this up.
Giuliani had been a lawyer in New York since 1969.
