Fears of civil unrest are growing in France after numerous large protests against mandatory and even voluntary vaccines gain traction. Now talk of booster vaccines will really ramp up those who oppose and call the vaccine a so-called “medical experiment”.
France will soon begin offering ‘booster’ coronavirus vaccines to the elderly and those with serious underlying health problems.
The country will start administering the shots from September, only to those deemed vulnerable.
Leading pharma companies are pushing for booster shots as the effectiveness of the original vaccines is believed to decrease over time. Pfizer and Moderna recently announced price hikes to their vaccines to accommodate this ongoing business model.
