Newly crowned Open Champion Shane Lowry will be given a rousing reception tomorrow night as his home town of Clara, is host a homecoming ceremony.
In an event that will cap off an amazing week the 32-year-old Offaly native will be greeted by family, friends and supporters at Clara GAA Club.
Lowry and his supporters will also be treated to music by Birr singer Mundy as well as a performance by impressionist Conor Moore during the event which will have RTÉ’s Des Cahill as MC.
The reception which will be surely a memorable night comes after Lowry became the fourth Irish player to win the championship on Sunday.
