Climate activist Greta Thunberg was challenged by Deutsche Bahn after tweeting a photo of herself sitting on the floor of a train surrounded by many bags.
The 16-yr-old Swedish activist showed sympathy after commenting that she was traveling across the country on “overcrowded trains” on her way home from the United Nations Conference on Climate Change in Madrid.
The young crusade does not fly on airplanes because it is considered to be hazardous to the climate.
Responding to the image, rail operator Deutsche Bahn said they were happy to have her aboard their eco-friendly train and welcomed her support “in the fight against climate change”.
But the company went on to say that: “It would have been even nicer if you had also reported how friendly and competent you were looked after by our team at your seat in first class.”
