The Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan has accepted the freedom of Dublin City award during a private ceremony.
Dr Holohan who was put forward to receive the award by Dublin City council, collected the honour during a private ceremony at Dublin’s Mansion House.
The Chief Medical Officer was presented the award by Lord Mayor Hazel Chu.
