Cold weather set to come to an end, as warm and pleasant temperatures are forecast for next week

The weather has been rather chilly for the past few weeks, but Met Eireann is forecasting a change for the better.

Starting Monday, thermometers will rise to highs of 13C-14C, with long periods of sunshine and little in the way of rain.

The next couple of nights will remain rather cold, however, with lows of 1C-2C

Saturday and Sunday will be dry overall, with the latter expected to be a pleasant, sunny Spring day as temperatures begin to rise.
