Students, whether rightly or wrongly, get objectified as complaining quite a lot about their daily struggle to get a third level education.
Either way, they’re not complaining now as they’re in line to get a big cash payment in the next two months.
Tens of thousands of students are set to receive a €679 bonus payment in December.
The payment, which will be issued on December 16, will reach around 50,000 students who are currently receiving grants.
The payment is one of the measures approved in the recent Budget to address the rising cost of living.
