Commuters and shoppers in the UK are facing almost a whole month of disruption as rail workers vote to strike on multiple days over the Christmas period.
South Western Railway workers have voted to down tools for 27 days next month, starting on December 2, after talks to avoid industrial action broke down.
The row centers around the request by South Western Railway staff to have guards on every train, which workers say has been ignored by management.
