Concerns raised as other local lockdowns may be introduced in other counties if coronavirus cases continue to increase

Concerns have been raised as to what the government may or may not do in their next effort to fight clusters of covid-19 in Ireland.

In an effort to stop another full national lockdown, local lockdowns might be imposed in other locations if coronavirus cases continue to increase, it has emerged today.

The warning comes during a weekend where Kildare, Laois, and Offaly have seen heavy Garda presence to enforce lockdown measures.

174 new cases were diagnosed on Saturday alone, prompting warnings from the Government as the Covid-19 situation appears to be deteriorating rapidly across the country.
