Proud parents 75-yr-old Prabha Devi and her 80-yr-old husband have welcomed a happy and healthy little girl into the world following IVF treatment.
Mrs Devi gave birth to her little girl, her first biological child, on Saturday evening at Kinker Hospital in Kota in Rajasthan, India.
Medics have said that the whole pregnancy and birth couldn’t have gone better and that both mother and baby are doing very well even though the baby is premature and weighing less than 2lbs. The medical team are very confident that she’ll steady improvements and will be fully healthy in the coming weeks.
The woman conceived the little girl through IVF, after a number of years of failed attempts to have a child naturally. Herself and her husband also have an adopted child to be a sibling to their new baby.
