Console financial scandal: Founder Paul Kelly and his wife are banned from accessing charity funds

Paul Kelly, the founder and former CEO of the Console charity, and his wife Patricia are now legally prevented from accessing the charity’s funds after a raft of financial irregularities were uncovered at the organization.

It is alleged that Mr. Kelly, his wife, and his son, racked up bills of up to half a million Euro using credit cards linked to Console. The monies were allegedly used to fund a lavish lifestyle of expensive designer clothing, groceries, foreign travel, and top range vehicles.

A High Court injunction has now been issued preventing both Mr. Kelly and his wife from accessing the charity’s funds. Furthermore, the injunction prevents the destruction, concealing, or moving of any company records while investigations are ongoing.
