Saturday was a fine, sunny day, with temperatures reaching 22C at times. Sunday was a different story though, as temperatures took a marked tumble.
Today, Monday, is forecast to be a mostly dry, settled, but cool day, with highs of 13C.
Tuesday will see a similar pattern of dry, sunny weather, but lower-than-average temperatures.
From then on, Met Eireann says that temperatures will rise gradually to about 17-18C, leading into a fine weekend, with long sunny periods and pleasant temperatures bordering on 20C.
