Management at a Cork hotel said they were “horrified” by the violent scenes at the weekend event, reports Breaking News.
Video footage of the Bingo Loco party held at the Rochestown Park Hotel in Douglas on Saturday evening is circulating online and shows a big fight during the event.
Gardai previously confirmed they received reports of a disturbance at the premises on Saturday evening, which led to the arrest of a 50-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman.
Both were later released without charge.
Following the incident, two men were taken to Cork University Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
As reported by the Irish Examiner, the hotel’s management said they would fully cooperate with the ongoing Garda investigation into the incident “and hopes that this investigation will hold those responsible for their actions on the night fully accountable”, reports Breaking News.
They added that the hotel has hosted Bingo Loco “numerous times” in recent years, but Saturday’s event “was marred by a couple of groups of people who attended on the night”, reports Breaking News.
