The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has issued a statement to confirm that this year’s games will be postponed until 2021.
The games were scheduled to be held in Tokyo, Japan, from July 24th.
Several countries had already confirmed that they would not be sending their athletes due to the ongoing pandemic.
