There’s been absolute uproar on social media after footage emerged yesterday evening of a pub in Dublin’s Temple Bar packed to the rafters with punters completely ignoring all advice from health experts about “social distancing” and doing your best to avoid spreading or contracting coronavirus.
Social media users called the party revellers “utterly selfish”, “stupid” and “disgraceful” claiming that these people and this actual video could be the reason that Ireland has harder lockdown measures imposed because people just wouldn’t listen.
The drunk crowd can be seen chanting, jumping, dancing and singing “sweet caroline” – but there was nothing sweet about the response they received online.
