A British zoo has issued a stark warning, claiming that ‘it’s running out of money to feed its animals.’
A spokesperson for Dartmoor Zoo, sited in Devon, has said that the facility’s cash reserves are quickly dwindling, and that the zoo might run out of money in about two weeks.
Dartmoor Zoo, which is registered as a charity, largely depends on income from visitors to survive, but the coronavirus pandemic has kept the zoo closed for some time.
