The Irish Mirror reports that the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) is likely to issue a recommendation to extend current lockdown measures ‘for another week.’
It is understood that the team will meet this morning to issue guidance on the current situation, and whether or not extending the lockdown is warranted.
Lockdown was originally scheduled to finish on Easter Sunday, but it’s now likely to remain in place for some time longer.
