German Chancellor Angela Merkel has issued a grim prediction today, saying that ‘up to 70%’ of Germany might become infected with COVID-19.
Germany has so far reported over 1,400 cases of the disease with two confirmed deaths.
Worldwide, over 120,000 infections have been reported.
