India has imposed a lockdown of several major cities until the end of March amidst a marked increase of Covid-19 infections.
The lockdown affects millions of people living in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata, among many other cities and locations across 75 districts.
India, a country with a population of over 1bn people, has so far reported 415 cases of coronavirus, but health authorities believe the true figure to be far higher.
